KJ Dance Theater was opened in September of 2001 with a proud group of 75 students. Since then our studio has steadily grown and currently has an enrollment of approximately 300 students. KJ offers classes for students as young as 3 and up to the adult level (20 yrs. & up). We are positive our success is due to our warm and caring staff and our overall dedication to the growth and development of our young dancers.

Our professionally trained staff has a minimum of 10 years teaching experience,  along with many years of performance background. Credits include Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom, Carnegie Hall, MTV, NY Dragons Fire Dancers, and many Ballet/ Modern Companies in the New York area. Our teachers have designed their classes to shape each young student to be the best dancer they can possible be. Classes focus on the importance of performance and stage presence to ultimately prepare each dancer for the annual recital. However, KJ’s main goal is to provide your child with the knowledge and discipline of dance, while allowing them to experience the fun and excitement of this beautiful art form.

The KJ Dance Company members are dancers with outstanding talent and passion for dance. Our youngest Company members are 5 years old and continue through the age of 19. Our Company has won numerous 1st Place and Overall High Score Awards. Company dancers are selected by an audition process, which takes place each summer or by appointment.
